All around Houston, restaurants are prepping for Sunday’s big game. Sports bars and beer gardens are hosting watch parties for the Super Bowl, and you can get your foodie fix, whether it be Houston-made beer from 8th Wonder, or Super Bowl-themed cookies from Paulies.

If you want barbecue from the city’s best pitmasters or boozy drinks to get the pregame started, here’s 8 restaurants to dine-in or takeout for Super Bowl Sunday.

Big Horn BBQ

You know what sweetens a victory? Hickory smoked barbecue. Pearland’s Big Horn BBQ is offering up their smoked specialties, like pork ribs and jalapeño sausage for Sunday night's game. Chef Matt Coburn is preparing Houstonians for their Super Bowl parties with his hearty ready-to-eat dishes,like Chile con queso made with Waygu beef, and pork belly burnt ends. The weekend brings great weather, and that means patio dining, and happy hour. Watch the game at Feges in Spring Branch, on one of their three indoor projectors, or on the patio.
