Vinsmoke Judge, Reiju and Ichiji are shown to have survived. The Fire Festival is nearing its end. The fight between Luffy and Kaidou continues. Kaidou drinks some alcohol that affects his mood and behavior, and makes his attack patterns unpredictable to Luffy.

The fight between Kid and Law against Big Mom continues. Law and Kid reveal that they have awakened their Devil Fruit powers sometime in the past. They both note their awakened abilities are a last resort due to how much stamina the abilities drain. Law uses an attack that imbues his sword with his Devil Fruit power.

Later, as the Red Hair Pirates prepare to leave the island, Shanks brings Luffy off the ship. Uta had found him hiding on the ship, stating that if Shanks said no, then he's not allowed on board. As the crew leaves, Luffy swears to be on board next time. Eventually, the Red Hair Pirates return.
