For the Elementary School level, the requirements for Prospective New Students (CPDB) include:

  1. at least 6 years old on 1 July 2023;
  2. have a birth certificate from the authorities;
  3. registered in the Family Card issued by the DKI Jakarta Province Population and Civil Registry Office no later than June 1, 2023.

The registration path available for the elementary school level is the affirmation path, the zoning path, and the parents' work transfer and teachers' children path. Details of the registration path along with the quota and type of selection for each path are described as follows.

  1. Affirmation Path

This path is intended for orphanage children, children of health workers who passed away in handling Covid-19, and people with disabilities. In addition, it is also aimed at children whose parents receive Jakarta Worker Cards (KPJ) and children of TransJakarta drivers who drive small buses. CPDB who follow the affirmation path gets a quota of 25%, including for orphans and people with disabilities. Meanwhile, people with disabilities get a quota of two students per study group. The selection system used sequentially for the Affirmation Path is zoning selection, order of school choice, oldest to youngest age, and time of registration.

  1. Zoning Path

The Zoning Path targets CPDBs who are domiciled in a predetermined zoning area. This path is given an acceptance quota of 73% with a zoning selection, oldest to youngest age, order of school choice, then the time of registration.

This path is the last path at the Elementary School level. As the name implies, the Parents' Work Transfer and Teachers' Children Path is intended for CPDB whose parents change assignments from agencies, institutions, offices, or companies that employ teacher children. Junior High School (SMP)

For the Junior High School level, the requirements for Prospective New Students (CPDB) include:

  1. be at least 15 years old on 1 July 2023;
  2. graduated from elementary school or other forms that are equivalent;
  3. registered in the Family Card issued by the DKI Jakarta Province Population and Civil Registry Office no later than June 1, 2023.

The registration path available for the junior high school level is the achievement path, the affirmation path, the zoning path, and parents' work transfer and teachers' children path. Details of the registration path along with the quota and type of selection for each path are described as follows.

  1. Achievement Path

This path consists of academic and non-academic achievement paths. The academic achievement track has a quota of 18%, while the non-academic achievement track is 5%. The sequential selection system includes the total weighting of the GPA, the order of choice of schools, and the time of registration.

  1. Affirmation Path

This path is divided into two priorities. The first priority is for foster children in orphanages, children of health workers who have passed away in handling Covid-19, and children with disabilities. Then, the second priority is for CPDB who are KJP Plus holders, children of workers or laborers who receive Jakarta Worker Cards, children of TransJakarta partner drivers who drive small buses, and PIP recipients.

  1. the highest age is 21 years on 1 July 2023;
  2. graduated from junior high school or other forms that are equivalent;
  3. registered in the Family Card issued by the DKI Jakarta Province Population and Civil Registry Service no later than June 1, 2022.

The registration path available for the high school level is the achievement path, the affirmation path, the zoning path, the parents' work transfer and teachers' children path, and the joint PPDB path. The quota for this path is 110 schools and 2,764 students with affirmation priority selection, zone priority, order of school choice, and time of registration.

The quota for this path is 2% with a total selection of academic achievement index weighting, order of choice of schools, and time of registration.

  1. Joint PPDB

The joint PPDB aims to increase village power and support improving the quality of education through the involvement of schools organized by the community (private sector). The quota for this path is 147 schools and 4,145 students with affirmation priority selection, total academic achievement index weighting, order of school choice, and time of registration.

Joint PPDB for Senior High School and Vocational High School

Regarding Joint PPDB for SMA and SMK education levels, the requirements for New Student Candidates (CPDB) include:

  1. First Priority of Affirmation Path (KJP Plus recipients as well as PIP) and Second Priority of Affirmation Path (KJP Plus Recipients, Registered at DTKS, Children of KPJ recipients, Children of TransJakarta Small Bus Drivers)
  2. Graduated from junior high school or other forms that are equivalent;
  3. Maximum age of 21 years on 1 July 2023;
  4. Recorded on a Family Card issued by the DKI Jakarta Province Population and Civil Registry Office no later than June 1, 2022.

For the Senior High School level, the quota is 40% with 2,764 students and 110 schools. The selection that applies to SMA is based on affirmation priority, zone priority, order of school choice, and time of registration. Meanwhile, for Vocational High Schools, the quota is 60% with 4,145 students in 147 schools. Early Childhood Education (PAUD), Special Schools (SLB), and Community Learning Activity Centers (PKBM)

Regarding PPDB Jakarta 2023 for the PAUD education level, the requirements for New Student Candidates (CPDB) include:

  1. Have a birth certificate/certificate of birth from the authorities;
  2. Residents of DKI Jakarta Province are preferred, as evidenced by a Family Card issued by the DKI Jakarta Province Population and Civil Registry Office no later than June 1, 2022;
  3. CPDB for teacher children is given a quota of 2% of the capacity;
  4. Teacher children referred to in the second point are CPDB whose parents become teachers in the intended Education Unit;
  5. Age 2-6 years on 1 July 2023 for TPA (Child Care Center) and SPS (Similar Early Childhood Education Unit);
  6. Age 3-4 years on 1 July 2023 for KB (Play Group);
  7. Minimum four years and maximum five years on 1 July 2023 for group A in TK (Kindergarten);
  8. Minimum five years and maximum six years on 1 July 2023 for group B in TK (Kindergarten).

Registration to the designated Education Unit for PAUD can be done online through the PPDB PAUD website.

Regarding PPDB Jakarta 2023 for the SLB education level, the requirements for New Student Candidates (CPDB) include:

  1. Registered on a Family Card issued by the DKI Jakarta Province Population and Civil Registration Office no later than June 1, 2022;
  2. Special Education Students are Children with Special Needs (ABK).

TKLB (Extraordinary Kindergarten)

  • Have a birth certificate/certificate of birth from the authorities.

SDLB (Special Elementary School)

  • Have a birth certificate/certificate of birth from the authorities;
  • Minimum age of 6 years on 1 July 2023.

SMPLB (Extraordinary Junior High School)

  • The highest age is 18 years on 1 July 2023;
  • Have an elementary school diploma/SKL (Certificate of Graduation) or equivalent.

SMALB

  • The highest age is 24 years on 1 July 2023;
  • Have a high school diploma/SKL (Certificate of Graduation) or equivalent.
  • Registration to the destination Education Unit for SLB can be done via WhatsApp/SMS/e-mail/Google Form.

Regarding PPDB Jakarta 2023 for PKBM, the requirements for Prospective New Students (CPDB) include:

  1. Have a birth certificate/certificate of birth from the authorities;
  2. Recorded on a Family Card issued by the DKI Jakarta Province Population and Civil Registry Office no later than June 1, 2022.

Package A

  • Be at least 7 years old on July 1, 2023.

Package B

  • Have an elementary school diploma/SKL (Certificate of Graduation) or equivalent.

Package C

  • Have a high school diploma/SKL (Certificate of Graduation) or equivalent.
